I’ve been watching Nique’s steady rise from his hometown of Aurora to other parts of the country. Back in May, I posted his stand out record, 25 To Life, praising its expression of turning pain into art. His hard work has paid off with his newest project, Therefore, I Am. I’d call it an almost flawless body of work. The production is exceptional and never copies the last. JIA Beats, Donato, Gum$ and many more contribute polished beats that contain clear and concise mixing and mastering. Nique has stepped his game up starting with his flow. It is on-point and smooth. He’s also become smarter in his choice of production. The LP covers all grounds, which you can read in his explanation:

“This project is my most personal body of work, it was inspired by my thoughts of being who I want to be in life, as well as the fear of not becoming him.”
