Chicago’s Fairplay Drops An Epic Two Part Visual In “Both & Free Smoke”

My man Fairplay has been tearing things up in the deep underground of Chicago. Thanks to his presence on social media, (most notably Instagram) he is finally getting his due respect. He records at a rapid pace, staying releveant with singles, albums, compilation tapes, and visuals. Just a few weeks aftet dropping his second compilation tape Family and Money 2 (City of Hate) he’s back with a two part visual to Both & Free Smoke. Fairplay isn’t one to bullshit you – which you’ll find in anything he releases. The Billy Kauc directed music video holds no gimmiks – it’s a gritty look into his city & streets. A narrative is dispersed throughout – but the star of the show is, as always, Fairplay. You’ll find him passionately rhyming behind various backdrops, never faltering with his verbal wordplay. Both instrumentals couldn’t be more different, but showcase Fair’s ability to hop on anything and spin it to gold. Peep the visual below.
