Artist 3VM dropped some vibes for the rest of the year with “Ballin”.
The vocals and bars on this track are superb as he drops multiple sports references like “I just threw the vibe, she Randy Mossed it”.
I spoke with him on Instagram about his upbringing, musical background, and his take on “Ballin”. “I was born on the south side of Chicago, and later moved to Elkhart, IN. I got into music cause my Pops loved it and my Uncle Ken was a DJ in the city. I started recording music, rapping, and singing in elementary school and decided to dig deeper after I graduated college. So here I am now. The ideal meaning behind “Ballin” is a lot of money, etc. However to me, “Ballin” is reckless freedom. Literally doing whatever you want, whenever you want, without a care in the world. I was inspired by a lot of the risks and chances my team and I have made. We live up to that name. That song means everything to me. Because, a lot of people are living like they’re told to, instead of how they want to. What’s the point of living if you can’t do what you want?”.
