I’ve developed friendships with a host of Baltimore artists thanks to my many friends from the area. I’ve mentioned before that Zheep & YTK are in my top 3 along with Chris Cassius. He has excellent management (close friend Justice of the Demo Tape) and additionally has gotten better with every release. Just 2 weeks ago he dropped one of my favorite EP’s of the year in Chest Vest Music and I thought he’d let it breathe for a bit. Then I remembered the artist Chris is. He works tirelessly, recording and shooting visuals often. Today we’ve got both with the official music video and audio of new track, Swish.

The IVARRE directed visual is a perfect representation of what Swish is all about. He actually dropped it before the audio, a bit unorthodox, but seemingly effective way to market himself. As usual Chris switched things up on this one, using rapping and singing to put together a strong loosie. His confidence is growing, and Swish represents that perfectly. The instrumental provided by Tokyo Tendo brings it all together, and was a great choice of producer.
