I’m always grateful when I get in tune with a dope artist out of Chicago. Faison The Don is an up and coming rapper from the Westside of the city who has certainly impressed me with his first official video. Interestingly enough, he started rapping as a hobby, but it soon turned into a passion that he’s continuously perused.

Itchy may seem like an odd title, but it fits in well with the catchy chorus driven record. The beat (no info on the producer) adds incredible energy that allows Faison to speak on his fallen friends and his grind. Punchlines are abundant, keeping the 3 and a half minute track interesting. It also features Jiggy Johno who has worked with Ty Money, and has been a regular on Fakeshoredrive.

Faison linked up with Brandon Holmes on the visual who has been making a name for himself in Chicago to great success. It’s raw, and still visually compelling.
