SluRty doesn’t give up. He submits often, and truly believes in his music. While it’s been some time since we featured him, I’ve noticed his fan base and play count has grown exponentially – all due to hard work and a consistent output.

The talented New Jersey MC just hit my inbox with his latest track, Diamonds Hit The Light, and I was immediately impressed. The self produced space age cut is as catchy as it is experimental. He keeps it dark through his baritone vocals and stoner inspired beat. Diamonds Hit The Light is poetic; an abstract way to speak on an NYC broad. It’s all strung together with a hauntingly beautiful chorus: “You should have seen the diamonds when they hit the lights.”
