Shout out to my blogger buddy Joe Hovas for introducing me to Cole. I peeped this off his SoundCloud re-post and was blown away. His newest, Dangerous, is unlike anything I’ve ever heard before. That’s a rare occurrence as I’ve listened to a lot of music in my 26 years of life.
Cole tags this song as R&B, but it’s in a league of it’s own. It’s a full on vocal track. Although there are lyrics, they can be inaudible, but it a good way. It is the power of his high pitched melodic voice that pushes the song forward, along with Sbvce’s production. They play an equal role in the song, which is something I love to hear.
Cole tells us he is dangerous to fall in love with, and advises us to cease all romantic feelings for him. The beauty of Dangerous is that the sentiment is sequenced with the audio. He isn’t afraid to experiment, and this results in a powerful and heartfelt song.
