Music bloggers exaggerate. Trust me, I've done it a handful of times. But in this post, there will be no hyperbole. I already deemed Casscade's recent LP Living In The Moment is the best album I've heard this year. I was so overwhelmed by it, I shared his story with my readers shortly after.
I spent a lot of time with it, and every time the song In The Moment came on it sent shivers down my spine. Every. single. time. Everything about the record is perfect. Melodic, honest, with just a right amount of turn up.
Casscade told me the visual was in the works, but didn't tell me exactly when it would impact. Well, today is the day! The song still gets me in my feelings, but the visual took my emotions to a new hight. In The Moment is about a relationship Casscade has with a woman, but their status is in the air. Temptations come every time he goes out, and he's not sure if he should act on them. It is much more complex than you think, and the video captures that to a T. I was worried it wouldn't live up to the genius of the song, but I was completely wrong.
