Producer/DJ Na$im Williams is a well known figure in Chicago. He actively contributes to the city, even outside of music. Still, his work is acknowledged around the country, as he’s hosted DJ sets for the likes of Shade 45, Michael Christmas, and Chicago’s own Vic Spencer.
I included his first Sometimes God Has A Kid’s Face EP in our “best of 2016” list, speaking on its cohesiveness among diverse instrumentals. Today Na$im is back with Part 2, and is his best work yet. Although only 4 tracks deep, he utilizes samples better than ever, and adds heavy bass that I am quite partial to.
Once again he dedicates the project to his daughters – a very meaningful sentiment.
