Whenever I see a new email from ZOTOWSKI, I automatically get hyped. Utilizing melody is nothing new in the SoundCloud universe, but Zo perfects it. He never overdoes the use of autotune, often incorporating Future’s honesty and vulnerability. Zo is less aggressive, and his vocals are as smooth as melted butter.

Daddy’s Birthday Freestyle is his latest; a remix to a choice cut off Young Thug’s newest album. BTG is one of my favorites of the year, and Daddy’s Birthday blew me away from the jump. The London On Da Track and Scott Storch beat put me in a trance, giving Thug the room to speak on the beauty of sharing his riches with the ones he loves. Although Zo’s narrative is a bit different, he still pours out his heart about leaving the ones he loves to pursue music.
