To Prep Us For Their Upcoming Album, JR&PH7 & ST. JOE Drop A Potent New Single, ‘Invitation’

Below System Records is one of my favorite hip hop labels outside of the US. Based in the Netherlands, their roster includes hip hop legends Masta Ace, JR & PH7, Chuuwee, Trizz, and many more. I recommend checking out their SoundCloud page to get a proper introduction to what they have to offer.

Although they are based outside of the country, a slew of their artists are from the United States, and even reach other parts of the globe.

A recent example comes from German production duo JR&PH7 (Roc Marciano, Sean Price, Ras Kass) and New Jersey emcee trio, St. Joe Louis (Michael Cardigan, Tommie Chase and Elete Wright). Invitation is the latest tune from their forthcoming full-length, studio album titled Coral Cadavers. This song is the essence of hip hop, combing potent rhymes with a space-age, soul instrumental. The team adds fuel to the fire by grabbing Phonte for a stunning verse and Tamisha Waden for the melodic vocal assist.

Everyone on the team has been working hard to promote this sure to be classic album, having already unveiled several digital singles including ‘Driven’ (feat. Roc Marciano), ‘Duck Duck Goose’ (feat. Rah Digga), and ‘I Want It All.’ A few visuals have dropped as well which you can peep on the label’s official YouTube channel here

Coral Cadavers is dropping on June 16th which you can pre-order here. Prep by reading Below System’s description of the album (below).

Coral Cadavers’ was written as a concept album of a “neo-noir” psychological thriller about a woman’s descent into moral ambiguities, against the backdrop of Los Angeles.
