DAVION has given us a great start to the summer in his new freestyle Shining. Although Jay-Z and Beyonce killed the DJ Khaled beat, I prefer listening to the Chicago emcee’s version. If you aren’t familiar with the original song, you may mistake this rework to be his own creation.

DAVION has incredible agility on this record, with a rapping style that couldn’t sound more organic. It’s easy to hear how naturally talented he is, and with the right backing, I can only see amazing things happening for him this year.
