In the last month, Eli Saf has been giving us tons of bangers on SoundCloud. They’ve gotten quite a number of plays and positive response, all well deserved. He’s stepped it up a notch with new track Gotham featuring the respected emcee Mickey Factz. It’s my favorite song from him yet. It’s also seld produced. There is a backstory on this one, so I’ll let Eli take it from here:

When I was 19 years old, I was on my way back to New York City to go to College. I was a hopeful, wide eyed kid waiting to see the city lights. I week prior I had found out Mickey Factz was making a come back into the industry. Eventually, I took an opportunity and met Mickey at an apartment/studio on Park Avenue. I was so excited I felt like I could cry. From 15, to 19 I had dreamed of shit like this. All I ever wanted was to meet a legend and appreciate my art. It happened that day and its crazy because our families are from the same part of the Bronx. I hope the momentum can just continue from there. Thanks to everyone who actually believed and will continue to.
