I’m new to Xavier Clark but extremely impressed by his new 3 track EP Arlo Day. I went through more of his catalog and was equally impressed by his ability to create dark trap rap songs but make them all sound slightly more progressive.

Arlo Day includes that same diversity from the warpy and more melodic self titled track, to abstract and experimental Back Up In The Building, to antsy Ride With Me. It’s interesting that each song has a different producer, as the styles seemed similar. With all this said, Xavier still knows how to pick a beat.

My favorite cut on the project is Back Up In The Building as it a little catchier and could easily become an Indianapolis anthem.
