Double drops are much appreciated from artists I’ve always enjoyed which is exactly what we’ve gotten from Washington emcee bzkt. Project We Are All Fucked sounds darker, denser and more aggressive than an Earl Sweatshirt album whom I automatically thought of when pressing play (I’m sure I’m not the only one).
The title is fitting, as it sounds hopeless, defenseless and a means to an end. My favorite production comes from bzkt. himself, although Toonorth caught my attention as soon as Black Trash dropped a month ago. 21 tracks are here to indulge upon, and I will continue to get my fill.
The visual is nothing and everything I expected; with gritty and spotty film (directed + edited by Ryan Mckinnon) a green haired bzkt., blood spewing from his nose, and sipping a half empty bottle of drank. You can catch the video above.
