Musa Reems Kicks off “Musa Mondays” with “Quarter Juice”

Man, Musa Reems just won’t let up.

Fresh off the release of his confessional opus, “Dear Winter,” Reems is already back with new music, and this new cut, “Quarter Juice,” is every bit as gruff sounding as its predecessor. The trap-influenced instrumental, produced by WestEnd Beats, is aggressive and intimidating. The trap percussion snaps, creating a bleak aesthetic over the heavy weight of the bass.

Musa really goes in on this track. His sharp wordplay compliments his braggadocious bars with ease, as he muses on the harsh realities of street life. Offering up an unfiltered view of what life is like in the inner-city, Musa Reems does a beautiful job of painting an honest portrait of where he comes from.

Driving this point home every bit as much is Musa’s flow and delivery. His flow stays at a steady pace throughout the entire track, consistent in its constant pace. His delivery comes off as urgent, as Musa clearly wants the listener to feel every bar coming out of his soul.

“Musa Monday’s” will consist of 5 separate installments with “Quarter Juice” being the first one. If this track is any indication, Musa Reems will be reigning in the summer with fire and fury.

“Quarter Juice” will be available on all platforms on Monday, May 6.
